Alternative Routes & Traffic Tips

To minimize delays and navigate around closed roads, consider the following alternative routes:

For travel to and from Attard, use Fleur De Lys and Birkirkara as detours.
If heading from Rabat and looking to avoid Attard, take a route through Żebbuġ and Qormi.
For access to Mrieħel, enter via Triq il-Kanun (Santa Venera) or Triq il-Mitħna (Qormi).
For Valletta and Floriana, it is recommended to pass through the Valletta Waterfront.
Roads leading from Marsa and the Regional Road to Rabat will remain open.

Drivers are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel. Public transport users should also check for any potential disruptions to bus routes operating in the affected areas.
